Clay Martin has worked as a consultant and trainer in industry
for over fifteen years. He has worked with companies all
over the United States in the areas of design automation,
complex surfacing, and large assembly management. Clay’s
primary area of expertise is in complex and Class-A surface
modeling. In addition, he is an expert feature-based CAD
modeler and has led many endeavors to implement CAD/CAM
technology and strategy for a multitude of industries.
Since 1996, Clay has worked with companies such as Mercury
Marine, John Deere, Caterpillar, Harley Davidson and Ciba
Vision.
Clay is a degreed engineer graduating from Oklahoma State
University in 1997. Clay began using Pro/E on version 15, and
has utilized PTC technology ever since. He has been extensively
trained on and has professionally utilized many modules in the
suite of PTC products. Further, Clay has successfully
incorporated many complimentary products into his design method
that effectively work in conjunction with Pro/E’s extensive
modeling capabilities. Clay has utilized ICEM Surf, Pro/E
Advanced Surfacing, ISDX, REX, Alias, Raindrop Geomagic and
other industry leading surfacing and reverse engineering
technologies to provide world class solutions for his
clients.
Clay is also an experienced public speaker who has served as
emcee of a number of large events. In
addition, he has created motivational seminars
geared towards providing inspiration and direction to his
audience. Further, Clay has offered his technical
insight to businesses and technical groups through
interactive presentations he has provided
all over the United States.

PTC/USER Board of Directors and PTC Executive
Staff
Clay has also served on the PTC/USER Board of Directors for the past
three years. PTC/USER is a worldwide user organization
chartered in 1989 to educate, disseminate information about
PTC products, and facilitate a dynamic and progressive
relationship between PTC and its
customers.
