and Inboards
CMCI has enjoyed a long standing
professional relationship with Mercruiser, a division of
Brunswick. Since the mid 1990's, CMCI and Mercruiser
have worked together to revolutionize Mercruiser's product
development process. Most notably, Mercruiser's World
Class Design System (WCDS) was developed and produced
through the joint efforts of CMCI and a team of Mercruiser
technical specialists. The WCDS provides Mercruiser
with a standardized approach to product development that
insures not only that all design personnel
are collaborating around the most current
designs, but that they are doing so in the context of the
virtual assembly environment. In addition, the WCDS
documentation provides a prescribed account
of required modeling practices, system settings, roles
and responsibilities of users, and background to the
unique CAD tools used to accomplish the goals of the
system.

Further, CMCI has
provided advanced modeling support for Mercruiser for over
a decade. From injection molded plastic designs to
lost foam castings, CMCI has worked with Mercruiser
development teams to produce cutting edge designs while
utilizing the latest in manufacturing technology.
Through CMCI and it's numerous strategic partnerships,
Mercruiser has also benefitted from multiple
training classes, Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and
prototype part procurement.
